Unfinished Business

'Pompano Beach,Fl music lovers had a special treat in store as former LA major label recording artist Robbie Hilliard brought his brand of Country/folk/rock to their Summer Music Concert Series on the Beach Saturday Night,July 30th.

Hilliard coming back after a self imposed retirement played his originals such as Slow Burn,Divorced Blues,Remind Me Of You,among others,along with his array of Dylan favorites and his rockabilly standards.

The beach was overflowing with humanity to see Hilliard and his band on a beautiful breezy South Florida evening.' Jon Frangipane Lighthouse Point Magazine July 2011 Born and raised in Detroit,Mi,musical influences were Dylan,Chuck Berry,Johnny Cash,early English rock,Stones,Kinks,Traffic,etc,along with locals Bob Seger,Alice Cooper.

Moved to Los Angeles late seventies signing with a major label and played and recorded with among others (the late) RocknRoll Hall of Fame Bassist James Jamerson, and Guitar legend Lee Ritenour,Played clubs such as the famed Palimino and Troubadorto name a few.

Had some success with Slow Burn and Gambling Man before souring on 'Hollywood'.

Moved to South Florida early eighties raising family and goaded by a few local musicians to start playing and writing again.

So,I'm back finishing this new CD and getting on the road.

Recently played the Pompano Beach Seafood Festival headlined by 38 Special.
