Product Description

NTSC/Region 0. The first ever DVD from Renaissance, one of the greatest British Progressive Rock bands of all time. Song of Scheherezade features two separate live performances: seven songs from a live show, filmed during a 1976 US tour plus seven songs filmed during a different US performance three years later. Renaissance were originally formed in the late 1960's by ex-Yardbirds members Keith Relf, and Jim McCarty - but both eventually departed leaving the classic line-up of Annie Haslam (Vocals), John Tout (piano), Jon Camp (bass pedals/Vocals) and Terence Sullivan (drums).

The later line-up were responsible for the groups most recognized albums, which gained the group a significant fan base. 14 tracks. Cherry Red.

リスナーは、特にファンなら、四の五の言わずに見聞きするべし!!! 音しかなかったバンドの映像ですぞ。カラーフィルムの色と録音に問題がありモノクロとモノラルにしたのだと思われますが。そりゃ私も色の奇麗なステレオ音声で鑑賞したいのはやまたまですが、損所そこらの駄作に比べたらなんら問題なく楽しめますぞ！

画質・音質共、昔懐かしいＶＨＳ三倍レベルです。 Renaissanceの、初公式ビデオ作品ということなので、購入する価値は、それだけなのかと… ただ、動くｱﾆｰ･ﾊｽﾞﾗﾑの姿、声にはファンとしては それなりの感動はあります

下記、横浜馬車道さんのおっしゃる「良品」が２００９年７月発売のこちらです。回転数の問題が解決しました。問題なく最後まで見ることが出来ます。しかし、モノクロ、モノラル録音には変わりありませんし、劇的な改善、或いは変更を期待しているとそこまでは無理です。ルネッサンスの映像が正規のルートで出回るのは初めてですし、アニー・ハズラムだけでなく、ジョン・キャンプのブリブリベースは映像で見ると迫力が増しますし、ジョン・タウトのキーボード、マイケル・ダンフォードの淡々と弾くギターを見られるのはファンにとっては嬉しいです。でも７６年、７９年の映像がなぜモノクロなんだろう？わざわざモノクロでとった意味がわからないです。
