Cookie Crumbs

The late 60's and early 70's proved to be a fertile era in the Miami music scene. Thsoe in the know, know that it was the heavy influx of Cuban musicians migrating to Florida as being reponsible for uping the musical ante, and Ray Fernandez was the first to incorporate funk and soul rythms into the Cuban mix. Two albums in particular, COOKIE CRUMBS and SOUL FREEDOM, were prime examples of Ray Fernandez's touch. Both out of print since 1974 are highly sought after pieces by DJ's and mix artists. Now the best from these two recordings have been assembled onto one album and have been remastered from the original tapes.
