Poet Sky is a Southern California based alt-rock/post-punk band primarily consisting of V.J.R. Forrest, Samuel Strav Arzaga & Brian Ring with current feature members Andy Miranda on bass and Erik Agueros on drums completing a lineup that has been an ever-changing evolution and addition of multiplayers per project and/or albums starting from the late 2000's and on to now. Forrest, Strav and Bri...an released a Poet Sky demo like CD called The Sporadic Erratic EP in July 2008 which was done in collaboration with good friend turned part-time Poet Sky collaborator Kevin Kolpien (previously of They Walk In Line, The Stevenson Ranch Davidians, and The American Murder Project). The CD contains rough mixes and live version from the original 90's Poet Sky line up along with songs from two in-the-works Poet Sky concept projects titled Our Alackaday Ways and it's tentative follow-up Hyperbole which are both planned to be released as LPs. All material for Our Alackaday Ways is recorded with mixing possibly to be completed sometime in 2012. The Hyperbole LP project also has some songs written and will also feature a few tracks by Kevin Kolpien. Poet Sky's newest and current project is The Villain EP which was done with Andy Miranda and Erik Agueros and is now available as of late February 2012.
