    「突拍子もないのにちゃんと歌心がある」ドラムのフィリー・ジョーと「なんでその展開！？でもちゃんとまとまってる」ドラムのエルヴィンの共演アルバム。曲調のせい(＆ウィントン・ケリー(p)のおかげ？)もあるが聴いていてとても楽しいアルバム。最後の曲の「ブラウン・シュガー」はあの、ウォルター・デイヴィスJR(p)の作曲だそうで、アルバム『Philly Joe’s Beat』(ウォルターが参加) からちゃんと繋がっているんだな、と経緯を推測してみたりした。
