Producedby 'the band' and mixed by Mark 'Spike' Stent (U2, Madonna, Bjork), 'Heathen Chemistry' is the follow-up to 2000's 'Standing on the Shoulder of Giants', and the first to be recorded with the new line-up featuring Gem Archer (ex-Heavy Stereo) and Andy Bell (ex-Ride/Hurricane #1). The album offers up six new Noel Gallagher songs, three by Liam, and one apiece by 'new boys' Bell and Archer. Standout tracks include the Ramones-inspired 'Force Of Nature' ('Smoking all my stash/burning all my cash/bet you knew right away/it's all over town/that the sun's going down/on your easy life'), the acoustic-led 'She Is Love' and the epic anthem-in-waiting 'Stop Crying Your Heart Out'.
