クリストファー、渾身の一枚。 今までは、そのメロディメイカーとしての才能を遺憾なく発揮しつつも、ソング・ライティングの面では稚拙さも感じさせ、飽くまでエモ・ポップという枠組みの中に収まっていたNSN。 しかし、今作では、初めて自身によるバンドを組むことで、メロディ・メイカーとしてだけではなく、ソング・ライティングの面においても大きな飛躍を遂げた。 とかく、一曲一曲のクオリティが高い。 以前から、クイーンの影響は感じさせていたけれど、今作ではそれがより顕著になり、全体的にアリーナ・ロックのスケール感を有しつつも、幻想的でドリーミーなサウンド・スケープで統一された、泣きのメロディ満載のアンセミックなパワー・ポップがアルバムを通して展開される。 インディっぽい曲なんかもあって、曲の幅も広く飽きさせない。 （個人的には、最初と最後のトラックが白眉モノ。） メロディメイカーとしての面とソング・ライティングが両立した、まさに大躍進の一枚。 パワー・ポップ好きなら聴いて損なし。 日本はおろか、本国においてもあまり評価されていないようだけど 今後も要注目のアーティストだと思う。
