16歳の少年アレックスは始めたばかりのスケボーに夢中。その日も、スケボー少年の聖地・パラノイドパークに向かった。しかし頭をよぎるのは家族の事や彼女のジェニファーの事ばかり。不良グループに声をかけられたアレックスは、スリルを味わうために貨物列車の飛び乗りに参加する。その時、ふとした偶然から鉄道警備員を死なせてしまう。おびえ、悩み、不安に駆られながらも、何事もなかったかのように日常生活を送るアレックスだったが…。
