Motanka

Ukrainian newcomers Motanka use traditional Ukrainian instruments to deliver a wholly unique mix of metal and folk, with elements of modern electronica. The four-piece has managed to capture the trance-like magic of their live shows (one of which wowed the audience at 2018's Wacken Open Air Metal Battle) on their self-titled debut. Referring to their sound as Mystic Metal, Motanka leaves each and every stereotype behind here and hypnotizes with heavy ethno soundscapes.
