In Memory Of A Hero

In Memory of a Hero is the new release by Moh Alileche recorded in memory of Lounes Matoub, the outspoken singer and activist who was assassinated in Algeria in 1998. The CD, which was recorded in 2008 in Algeria and France, contains nine unreleased tracks, some of which focus upon the importance of Love, Freedom, Truth, and Justice. Also including a music instrumental, a song Take Me with You performed by Mounia, a female rising star in Algeria and another beautiful song co-composed by Takfarinas, one of the best singer/performers in North Africa. Instrumentation includes mandolin, banjo, guitar, flutes, ney, violin, bass, percussion and other traditional hand drums.
