Using a process developed by JVC and Universal Music Japan discovered through the joint companies' research into LCD display manufacturing, SHM-CDs feature improved transparency on the data side of the disc, allowing for more accurate reading of CD data by the CD player laser head. アルバムのタイトル通り、前作の「ロード」...

アルバムのタイトル通り、前作の「ロード」の続きって感じです。初期メタリカとはだいぶ違う、ロック・メタリカのアルバムです。ただブラックアルバム以降のファンの方やファン歴の浅い方は大丈夫でしょう。ロック・アルバムとしては十分のクオリティですね。①～④まで聴いてみれば、楽曲の良さは十分に伝わるのではないでしょうか。ただ、1st～4thのアルバムと比べれば、声だけが同じで全く別のバンドのようにしか聞こえないのも事実です。彼らもロックの最前線を突っ走る役を演じるのに必死だったのでしょうね。後半はやや中だるみがある気がします。
