Fill Your Head

Based out of Chicago, IL, Max Clarke & the Cut Worms are a recent manifestation which has grown out of the local underground garage/psyche scene. Their debut album, 'Fill Your Head,' was recorded at Bell Labs in Norman, OK in late 2012 and released in 2013. The sound achieved on this record is somewhere between 60s pop and 70s glam and punk, with a slight twinge of old country. Lyrically, the songs range from scathing to sentimental, illustrating a portrait of contemporary America in all it's neurotic, self-conscious, self-righteous glory. There is most certainly more to come from this young new artist, but for now, there's enough here to fill your head for a little while.
