②当時18歳だったﾌｫｰｸ好みのﾒﾘｰは本当に遣りたい音楽では無かったと内心思っていたらしい｡だが作品自体悪くは無い､BGMとして自然と流すとたちまちｷｭｰﾄなﾒﾘｰの歌声で一服の清涼剤になることでしょう｡ｼﾞｬｹｯﾄはﾎﾟｰﾙ嫁ﾘﾝﾀﾞが撮影｡

ポール・マッカートニーが発掘し、世界のティーン・アイドルにしようと企んで作られたアルバムのため「ポールの趣味」で選曲されている。メリーはこの手のポップスを非常に嫌っていたが、ポール・プロデュースの「悲しき天使」の大ヒットがなければ、彼女はウェールズの田舎のセミプロ・シンガーでしかなく、日本に紹介されることもなかったことも事実。そういうった意味でモニュメント的なアルバム。フランス向シングル用に録音された「アヴィニオンの王子様」のフランス語はヒドイ発音だが　それもご愛嬌。ファンは必携。
