これはいい。以前のようなプレグレっぽさ、全体を構成するコンセプトなどは無いが、全体の雰囲気は内省的で物憂げなサウンドで覆われており、その気品ある楽曲を聴いて、久しぶりにこのバンドの本質を垣間見た気がした。個人的には「BRAVE」「AFRAID OF SUNLIGHT」「THIS STRANGE ENGINE」の３部作がベストだと感じるが、このアルバムもそれらに次ぐクオリティーだと思う。昔のマリリオンはもう聴けないが、かといって現在このようなバンドを探してもそう簡単には見つからないだろう。

いろいろ意見があるようですが・・・タイトル曲のS・ロザリーの劇的Gソロ、M・ケリーの”オカズ的”ながら絶妙なフレーズ！こういう展開があれば僕はまだまだファンであり続けます！

Fishの1st〜4th/ヴォーカル交代後ホガースの5th〜7thまでは好きだったのですが、不協和音を入れだして、音が浮遊するようになってからはダメですね。UKロックってゆうんですか？ゆったりしたメロディーに、テキトーに歌う音程のズレた（ズらした）ヴォーカルがどうも。ギターソロもないし、たたみ掛けるスピード感もない。オシャレでひねった、ジャズ・ロックといった感じでしょうか。無駄のない展開が好きだったので、ファンは引退しました。
