初めてM-4を聴いた時、憂歌団を思い出しました。アメリカでは白人のステーションでさえ、よくオンエアされてました。抑えた感じが素晴らしいブルースだと思います。次作では更にソウル、ファンク色が強くなり、絢爛豪華な音作りとなりますが、sexに関する曲が多く、いささかキワモノ的なところが一般リスナーをかえって遠ざけてしまい、その後の彼女は溢れる才能とは裏腹に、残念ながらいささか迷走気味です。

現時点ではこのアルバムが一番良いです。僕はロックよりもバラードを歌ってるほうが好きです。４曲目なんか特にいい。
