From an early age evinced a taste for northern music, listening on the radio to exponents like Ramon Ayala, Kings of Leon, Lorenzo de Monteclaro, Invaders of Nuevo Leon, and Cadets of Linares, among others, and it is with the latter, where his intervention begins in the music by getting involved with the group of Lupe Tijerina and Rosendo Cant, as part of it's staff.
