Sliptrick Records announce the very first release from the fast rising all female Japanese group Lovebites. Let us introduce you to the 4 hard, heavy and melodic tracks of The Lovebites EP. There's no denying the fact that all the members of the band have been huge fans of heavy metal bands from overseas. They know how well English words flow with metal music and they also know they deserve to go global. Their respect and love for the internationally acclaimed bands that inspired them, and the fact that they dream of being acclaimed themselves in the future, naturally led them to sing in English. 3 of the 4 songs on their debut EP are written in English and sang by Lovebites Japanese-English bilingual lead-singer, Asami. Backed, in no small part, by the hard hitting quartet of Miho, Haruna, Midori and Mi-Ya, Lovebites pack a serious punch. Lovebites started working on their first EP at the end of 2016, joined by amazing an engineering team of Mikko Karmila and Mika Jussila from Finland who are known for their work with Nightwish, Children Of Bodom and Amorphis to name a few. The Lovebites EP was the culmination of those sessions and now the girls are ready to unleash their glorious sound to the North American public. The EP was mixed and mastered at the legendary Finnvox Studio in Finland and is truly a a perfect collaboration from the very best of Japan and Finland. Another amazing collaborator with the band was Mao, a member of Fuki Commune and ex-keyboardist of the group Light Bringer. He brought an authenticity to the sound, helping co-write and arrange some of the songs on EP.
