Under the watchful management eye of the co-founder of i-D magazine and influential face on the London club scene Perry Haines, King hit the charts with 'Love And Pride', reaching #2 in January 1985. Produced by Richard James Burgess of Landscape fame, the band went on to deliver their unique blend of Rock/Funk/Pop to the masses with their uniform of Doc Martins, bright suits and distinctive hairstyles.
