Flowers Fall Asleep

Flowers Fall Asleep is Ken Fury's first debut album, written and produced entirely by Ken Fury. Recorded in New York City and released by Ken Fury's label Inerus Music on August 16th 2012, the album invokes it's inspiration directly from his personal experiences. In his self inflicted passion for love, Fury delves into his poetry for the lyrics and plays all of the instruments on the album. Flowers Fall Asleep tells the story of a characters descent into the uncharted realm of emotion and the unceasing desire for freedom. The story begins with the song 'Beside Her' as Fury enters into the cell of the woman which entraps him into the realm where visions, dreams, and memories combine. As he is trapped and cannot escape he is forced to confront the issues and complications which keep him enslaved. He pushes everything away in 'Casted Tear' to try to find his drifting existence. While unbinding one layer of himself at a time, Fury begins to see the vastness of immortality as he enters into 'Empty Spaces' which releases his spirit as he tries to recollect his past lives. While being trapped in this realm and injecting himself with the infecting 'Still' images that are only alive in his mind, he begins to see the beauty in both the light and the dark. Deciding that the only way to release himself is to dive deeper, Fury then enters into 'Flowers Fall Asleep' which is the enclosing of his heart as he vows to search and find the answers to his long lost love and himself. His search becomes more ambiguous and abrasive as he is tortured in 'Stained Pride' with an old dream that he cannot hold nor touch, just remember. As Fury sees the patterns and habits which torment his being he begins to let 'Go' as he pushes and finds that the only way out now is by the 'Force' of love. While opening up and cleansing his being he starts to raise 'Higher' into the open universe to see the truth of his life. While knowing the answers which he sought out to find, he realizes that only one thing is left 'Unaltered'. In Fury's new found freedom he begins his journey into the night of the 'Moonlight Bloom' where he ventures into the depths of darkness and the highest parts of the light, all the while discovering the realm where all dreams are alive, all memories are frozen and where all love is infinite.
