Product Description

Johnny Storm made a name for himself in the early 1980s as a youthful Rockabilly singer. He released two albums, 'Flame On' and 'For Greasy Kids Only' which are both new regarded genre classics. He found TV fame as a regular on ITVs 'Oh Boy!' on which he made more than a dozen appearances. When the Rockabilly days of the '80s passed, Johnny Storm quit the music business until 2005 when his original drummer Tony called and arranged a one-off reunion jam. That get-together was so good that it would have been a crime to leave it there, so The Johnny Storm Band is now back on the road, gigging regularly, and it must be said, sounding better then ever. Youth may have been replaced by experience, but there's certainly no lack of energy here, and the band plays with at least the same enthusiasm as it did first time around. 'Rockin' Machine' was originally intended as a 5-track EP of all-new material, but when some highly collectible, previously unissued material dating from the early 1980s was rediscovered, the project expanded into a mini-album with a couple of bonus tracks which Johnny Storm fans old and new will love.
