ジョン・レノンは好きだが、オノヨーコが鬱陶しくて手を出せなかったアルバム群に収録されている「マインド・ゲームス」や「ウォッチング・ザ・ホイールズ」といった傑作をまとめて聴くことができるのは、さすがベストアルバムだなと思った。

ビートルズより活動期間の短いジョンのソロ作品ですが、ほんまよくもまあこれだけ出ますな、ベスト・アルバム。 ポールでさえ、ベストは３作品（これは少ないというべきか）なのに、ジョンもきっと苦笑してるでしょう。 今年は生誕７０周年なので仕方ないですが、もう編集盤はいいでしょう。
