    これだけ密度の濃いライヴが、CDで復刻されることは価値ある事。 まだテナー転向前の峰厚介さんはアルト、ベースの鈴木良雄さんも熱演。 菊池さんはアコースティック・ピアノとエレクトリック・ピアノを兼用。これまた色っぽい。 ドラムもツイン・ドラム（？）で、非常にテンションが高くスリリングです。 ジョー・ヘンダーソンと並ぶせいか、日野さんのスタイルにどこかしらウディ・ショウの影を感じます。
