"ビーチ・ボーイズ一派のミュージシャンとしても知られるジョー・シャーメイは、周辺のセッション・ミュージシャンを集めて結成したジョー・シャーメイ・バンドで81年に名作『The Ripper The Finer(L.A.プレゼンツ)』をリリースし、翌82年にはAORサウンドの傑作、フランキー・ブルー『Who’s Foolin’ Who?(潮風のバラード)』のプロデューサーとしても一躍脚光を浴びた。そして26年ぶりに発表した自身のソロとしては初となる本作（2007年発表/ダウンロード販売のみ）は、ほぼ一人で構築したサウンドながら、優れたポップセンスと変わらぬハイトーン・ヴォイスが魅力的なジョー・シャーメイの健在振りを示した意欲作だ。
