『You’re Beautiful』が街中で流れていた頃、街中で一人の女性と知り合いました。その後、デート中に「好きな音楽は？」と訊いたところ、帰ってきた答えは James Brown !!　若いのに意外と渋いなぁ・・・と面食らっていると「間違えた!! James Bluntだった!!」との訂正が。。その女性も今では最愛の妻となり、このアルバムを聴くと付き合い始めた当時の思い出が蘇ってくる、我が家の大切な一枚です。

1991年にｸﾞﾗﾝｼﾞﾛｯｸが出現して以来、洋楽から徐々に離れていった自分がいた。洋楽を殆ど聞いていた自分にとって、嫌な時代が続いた。しかしﾋｯﾄ曲②を聞いた時、久々にﾒﾛﾃﾞｨｰの美しい曲に出会う事が出来た。確かに斬新さは無いけど、本当に素晴らしいﾐｭｰｼﾞｼｬﾝが出てきた事に、安心感が持てた。
