Hypatia Lake's third release is their ultimate masterpiece, entitled Angels and Demons, Space and Time. It catches the band at their most intimate and most experimental moments. Recorded and Engineered by Scott Colburn (Arcade Fire, Animal Collective, Sun City Girls), the album exudes the quality and raw appeal that comes alongside a band playing together in a live setting. Previous sonic explorations relied upon massive amounts of sonic chemistry, hours in the studio and years to produce. This time around, they wanted to simplify their approach, and just create a set of amazing songs. You'll find beautiful acoustic guitars and pretty melodies, pure noisescapes, shoegaze leanings, and pure psychedelic rock.
