The house band at Atlanta's Grace Midtown Church, Housefires first gained notice for the much-covered worship song Good Good Father, included here in its laid-back original version, along with 10 equally compelling tracks. The Wick is a prayer chanted over minimal instrumental to surprising effect. Meanwhile, handclaps are used freely (just see Unto Your Name), and eight or nine-minute songs are common, making it feel like you've stumbled onto a rousing rehearsal session. This unstructured intimacy only adds to Housefires' appeal.
