Higher Hands are poised to reintroduce themselves. From the Kennedy Center in Washington DC to the Bowery in NYC, the band has been on the grind, burning up stages throughout the Mid-Atlantic with the likes of Trombone Shorty, The New Mastersounds, and the late Godfather of Go-Go, Chuck Brown. Hailing from Maryland's capital city, Higher Hands has firmly established their reputation throughout the DMV for a tight live set and an ability to improvise with the best. With a fresh line-up and matured approach to songwriting, the second album is complete. STAY SHARP was released on Nov 17th to an over-capacity sold-out crowd at The Whiskey in Annapolis, MD. The sophomore record is servin' up more of that signature sound, defined by funk and steeped in soul. STAY SHARP has a full roster of notable guests lighting up it's 12 tracks, including one legendary go-go percussionist, a guitarist who graduated from the Parliament Funkadelic School of Music, horn heavy funkateers, and a few of the area's top session vocalists.
