FRIENDS FOR LIFE, the 2014 album from The High Kings, features twelve irresistible tracks, including two original songs by the group, that showcase the brilliant instrumental and vocal talents of these four Irish musicians. All four members come from families that are dedicated to the Irish music tradition, and acquired outstanding experience before they came together as a group. Finbarr Clancy was a member of the celebrated Clancy Brothers, Brian Dunphy, one of the Three Irish Tenors, and Darren Holden starred in Riverdance, and Martin Furey was in the successful band Bohinta. Friends for Life brings energy and variety to a collection of brand-new songs as well as some old favorites. Irelands Folk Band of the Year for the last four years, The High Kings have an accomplished musical pedigree, playing 13 instruments between them.
