クラリネット＋リズムのトリオ。冒頭曲でのアルコから一貫して突っ走る。クラはペリーロビンソン。ロリンズ、あるいは初期スティーブレイシーにも通じるダーティな音色で迫真の演奏。グライムスも４ビートを崩して突発的なソロを入れる。とにかくこの時期のロリンズにも匹敵するほどの大迫力。６０年代フリージャズ名演のひとつに数えてよい大傑作だと思う。
