演奏のクオリティは確かに高い。しかしながら、バドパウエルの影響を蒙ったこの当時のピアニスト達と見分けがつかない。個性が発揮されるのはさらに数年を待たねばならない。だから面白くない。音も良いとはいえないし、他に聴くべきアルバムがある。視聴して以上のことに納得されると思う。ラファロにしてもエヴァンスとの演奏におけるようなものを期待できない。 買わないほうがよい。演奏はそれでも素晴らしいことにかありはないので90点とする。HMVレビューは当たらず遠い。
