Product Description

Grand Corps Malade means Great Ill Body in French. Fabien, a young artist from Saint-Denis, France chose this pseudonym due to his injured right leg which causes him to limp. He is not a rapper, but rather a slameur (as the French call it). Slam (which originated in the US) is spoken word/poetry and each slammer is to create a pseudonym for him/herself, as did Fabien. He debuts with the album Midi 20 and has been a great success in his native France. The hit single Les voyages en train, (included in this album) remained on top ten singles charts in France for several weeks.
