プロデューサーのリック・ルービンとは、Rage Against the Machine の Tom Morelloの紹介で出会っている。 Tom Morelloがロサンゼルスで行われたGogol Bordelloのライヴを見て、「ぜひ見た方がいい」とリック・ルービンに推薦。その後ライヴを見てこのコラボレーションが実現したという経緯がある。
