The Funeral Pyre has been grinding out their unique brand of melodic black metal for over six years out of their Southern California homebase, and have proven themselves to be road warriors in support of their previous two full length releases: 2006's The Nature of Betrayal (Creator-Destructor Records), and 2008's Wounds (Prosthetic Records). In their brand new offering December, the band provides five compositions of blazingly fast yet devastatingly epic black metal.
