■2010年代以降のエクストリーム・ミュージックに於いて、頂点のひとつと目されるFULL OF HELL。人間業とは思えない速射/連射で放つブラスト・ビートを軸に、メタリックなギター・リフとノイズ要素を融合したスタイルは、当代ハイブリッド感の象徴でもある。
■名門Relapseへ移籍しての2019年リリース最新作『Weeping Choir』はアナログ盤の驚異的なセールスに引っ張られるかたちで一般チャートにもランクイン、激音専門誌Decibel Magazineの表紙を飾るなど、露出も過去最高規模に。同年秋に実現した3度目の日本ツアーも各地で大盛況だった。
■数多くのリリースでも知られるFOHだが、その多くは限定盤であり、時期を逃すと入手は困難。最初期のアルバムも長らく廃盤扱いだったが、今回1st及び2ndアルバムが2枚組として再リリースされる。
■グラインドとノイズの調合バランス、フリー・フォームへの理解度/知性の対比はこの頃から顕著。10年前にメンバー全員がまだ10代だったことを考えると、今のポジションは相応しいもの。新装アートワークもバンドの世界観を象徴している。
