緻密に作り込まれた傑作2ndに比べて、かなりダイレクトにざっくりした感じ。スタジアム級のスケールと図太いグルーヴ、そしてブルージーな質感を身につけた。これを大衆性への迎合とみるか否かで評価が分かれそう。個人的にはそうは悪くないけど。

前作は、どっぷりと美しい世界に浸れるアルバムだったのに対して今作は、その世界を残しつつもダンサブルだったりポップだったりと、曲ごとに表情を変える全方向的アルバム

穏やかで水中に浮かぶような聴き心地だった前作に比べて、今回は現実的というか、浮遊感はない。 ジャケットがアルバムのムードをうまく表現してると思ます。 個人的にはもう少し軽快なものにするかと思ったら、逆を行きましたね。 評価は分かれそうなところとか、ちょっとアークティックの3rdを彷彿させますね。 それにしても、やっぱり彼らのベースラインが素晴らしいですね。
