激動の６０年代後半、その終盤に本作が発表され、シングル「輝く星座」が発表された、正に当時のファイナルといった感じのムードとドラマティックな展開も合わさった素晴らしい楽曲となっている、いつ聴いても他に類をみない感動を受ける、永遠の名曲だと思う。更に「Wedding Bell Blues」の心の琴線に触れるような切なくも暖かいメロディも素晴らしい。この２曲共々全米１位は納得出来る。

曲良し、歌良し、演奏良し、音質良し！リマスターでさらに魅力UPしてます。1960年代にこれほど素晴らしい作品があったことに素直に感動しました。このグループに関しては本当にスタッフに恵まれていたんだなと思います。Motownのように黒っぽくはないので、好みにそぐわない方もおいででしょうが、彼らからEW＆F～Michael Jacksonという繋がりから、彼らのポジションが分かっていただけるはず。彼らの代名詞といえる①をはじめ、②⑦ほか名曲多数。
