スウェーデンはストックホルム生まれのThe FieldことAlex Willnerは、2005年にデビューシングルを＜Kompakt＞よりリリース。そして2006年には、スウェーデンロックの人気バンド120Daysのリミックスをしたことから、テクノのみならずロックのファンの間でも評判になりました。その後発表した2枚目のシングル「Sun & Ice」では柔らかく幻想的なフレーズを用いながらもミニマルにループ、高揚感を持って展開する「Over The Ice」「A Paw In My Face」といった素晴らしい内容で、昨年＜Kompakt＞で最も売れたシングルに数えられるほど。そんな彼のアルバムデビューとなる作品は＜Boder Community＞の作品でみられるような、ジャンルのボーダーレスを感じさせる作品となっています。
