麻薬中毒を克服したエリック・クラプトンが1974年7月に発表した大傑作アルバム。やはり、このアルバムのハイライトはボブ・マーリィのカバー「I shot the sheriff」だろう。このカバーによって、レゲエにも世間の目が向けられたのは言うまでもない。ジャケットの見た目通り、にリラックスした雰囲気が漂っている感じのアルバムである。

完全にレイドバックしてるね。allmanの影響をかなり受けているね！一曲目からｽﾗｲﾄﾞｷﾞﾀ-弾いちゃってさ。まあ、クラプトンのギタ−、音楽はいいよ。これとスロ−ハンド、ＥＣwashereがあれば、充分かも？でも、ＬＡＹＬＡでallmanと出会ってから、本当に音楽性といか、クラプトンは変わったね。なんかゆとりというか、幅が出来たね。あと、パティと上手く行き出した頃だしね。
