Product Description

Singer and songwriter Eileen Simon brings her unique voice to the Tapestry label. Eileen was raised in a musical family singing church music with her father as a child. She learned to play the guitar and flute and was heavily influenced by folk music of the time, especially the music of Joni Mitchell. Eileen sings and plays guitar on her debut recording The Visit with backing by many of Colorado's best jazz musicians including trumpeter Greg Gisbert, pianist Eric Gunnison and her husband and bassist Mark Simon. All the selections are original compositions by Eileen.
