ロサンゼルスのゲットー、イースト・ロサンゼルスで70年代中盤に結成された完全無敵のパーティ・バンドEastside Connection。76年発表の7インチ・シングル「You Are So Light For Me」がLAとUK、カナダで大ヒット。数々のシングル盤をリリース後、79年に発表された唯一のアルバムが本作。怒濤のグルーヴ感にメロウなラテン・ブリーズも漂わすサウンドはまさにサルソウルのウェストコース版。今回LAで発見されたオリジナル・マスター・テープを日本で完全マスタリング。4曲のボーナストラックと共に再編集。ブックレットには貴重な当時のライブ写真やメンバーへのインタビューも掲載。
