地元テキサスにて所謂当時の「アシッド・ジャズ」のラジオDJとして’93年にキャリアをスタート、’07年に『Monday Drive EP』でプロデューサー・デビューし、ソウル/ファンクを多用したサンプリング・ベースの図太いブレイクビーツでシーンに登場、’11年には久々の7”リリースで巷を賑わせたDJ Sun。ようやく発表のフルアルバムは、持ち前のファンク/ソウル魂は勿論健在なうえ、本作ではさらにディスコ/ブギー・テイストも一層強化、一方でエレクトロニカ/アンビエント感も盛り込みつつ壮大なサウンドスケープを体現。ボーカル入りの曲も数曲用意され、アルバムとしての完成度も文句ナシ。随所に見え隠れするアノ曲コノ曲のチョップ/サンプリングも思わずニヤつかせてくれる至極の12トラック！
