Product Description

If you had an entire ocean to search, would it be possible to find one fish? That's the problem facing Marlin when his young son Nemo is snatched out of the ocean right before his eyes. After having lost his wife years ago Marlin's not about to loose his only son and sets off on an epic search to find Nemo, with only a very forgetful fish named Dory to help. The two of them face an impossible task made harder by a gang of sharks lead by Bruce, who want to help but are having problems getting over their instincts to eat everything in sight.

Meanwhile Nemo must learn to live in a strange new world with a group of friendly fish who all live in a tank in a dentist's operating room. Will Marlin be able to overcome everything thrown at him and be reunited with Nemo? Find out in one the greatest animated films of all time, Finding Nemo.

Content Description

オーストラリアのグレート・バリアリーフ。
イソギンチャクの新居に住むマーリンと妻のコーラルは、やがて孵化する400の卵を守りながら、幸福にひたっていた。その時突然、凶暴なバラグーダが彼らに襲い掛かる。マーリンは気を失ってしまい、気が付いた時にはコーラルの姿もなく、卵も全滅・・・・いや、たった一つだけ、傷つきながらも助かった卵があった！マーリンはこの子に“ニモ”と名づけ、「お前だけは何があっても守り抜く」と誓う。
ニモは右のヒレが左よりも小さい以外は、元気に成長していった。だが、海は危険に満ちており、ニモを思うあまり、マーリンはどんどん心配性になっていく。わんぱく盛りのニモにとって、マーリンの過保護ぶりは少しずつ重荷になっていく。

6歳になったニモの初登校の日、先生の引率で初めて遠出をしたニモは有頂天。だが、そんな時にもマーリンがついてきて、かっこがつかない。そこで、同級生たちに度胸のあるところを証明するために、珊瑚礁の外に錨を下ろしたボートに触ってみせようと、父の制止を振り切って泳いでいく。ボートに触れて得意満面のニモだったが、その時ダイバーが現れ、ニモをさらって行ってしまう。マーリンの必死の追跡もむなしく、ボートは姿を消す。

人間の世界にさらわれた魚は、二度と海に戻れない。パニック状態のマーリンは、行き交う魚たちに無我夢中でニモの行方を尋ねる内に、ボートを見たというドリーに出逢う。陽気な彼女は親切にもニモ探しを手伝ってくれると申し出るが、ひとつだけ、致命的な欠点があった。実は彼女は極端に物忘れが激しく、今起こったことすらたちどころに忘れてしまうのだ。
こうして、マーリンとドリーのニモを探す、長い長い冒険が始まるのだった。
