Angel's Blows

Saxophonist Dimitri Grechi Espinosa's solo album Angel's Blows is the fruit of many years of study on the relationship between sound and space, and on the spiritual significance of their connection. Espinosa recorded his prayers in sound live at the Baptistery of St. Giovanni, in one of the most spiritually significant piazzas in Christendom. The Baptistery is, in fact, the perfect acoustic architectural setting for bringing music back to it's original function of dialogue with the sacred, without distinctions of creed or culture. Through his music Espinosa promotes awareness of oneself and others, in the presence of the unity that holds the cosmic order together.
