'This is the kind of Blues we had in Chicago of the 60's & 70's. An excellent time with Blues comin' from the heart and soul. These people got's the feel, the real feel, not a bunch of Tablature or Blues Fake Books feel. The band is comprised of Guitarist and Singer Diane Wessels, with Ricky Wessels on Bass, and Jenine Wessels on Drums. They emphasize that their mission is not to change the blues, or make 'new blues.' Instead, invoking a litany of legendary Chicago musicians as their inspirations, they have set to deliver their interpretation of Classic West Side Chicago Blues through covers and original compositions. Dented Trucks has appeared with Harmonica Hinds, Magic Slim, and others, and performed locally at Buddy Guy's Legends, Kingston Mines, and the Chicago Blues Festival. They released their debut album 'Blue Sun' in 2010 and now their 2013 release the wildly anticipated 'How's This.'
