Keep Her Lit

Dave Try is from Ireland but has lived in Massachusetts for most of his life. He is cool and he can write songs and sing them. This is Dave Try's solo debut. There are 12 full band arrangements featuring his multi instrumental skills on guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass, tin whistle, low D whistle, percussion, trumpet, and vocals. The first half of the album is more from the Irish voice and the second half has more of a roots/country feel. The songs are really strong and there are no modern gimmicks like 'auto-tune'. It was recorded in a bedroom with one mic from Nov-June 2014. 'I didn't sleep for 8 months because I had to tell these stories and sing these songs. I worked through exhaustion and sickness but I'm proud as hell of the tracks I got down 'Dave Try Thank You: To Ireland & New England.
