Seven years in the making and two weeks in the recording, 'The Datsuns' is all about impact, right from the first note. The band spent this summer touring America, the UK, New Zealand and Australia, cutting an incisive swathe through the gig circuit, collecting ecstatic live reviews ('...the most exciting live band on the planet' - Kerrang!), inking a deal with V2 and recording their debut album at the vintage wonderworld that is Toe Rag analogue recording studios. Now, after all thehyperbole, comes the bare bones of the matter. With nods towards Motorhead and AC/DC, this is garage-rock in excelsis; ten tracks of loud, mean, attitude-infested pure unadulterated rock 'n' roll. Includes the single 'In Love'.
