SOUL SOUNDZ from Darling Instigatah is: The Spoken Word tip... These pieces are inner audio landscapes... guided meditations, transferred into words and set with music. On 'the time is now' (tk 3) & 'sunrise' (tk 7) - the words were written to the music. The music is largely influenced by reggae, dub (predating dub step), jazz, blues, house, hip hop, drum 'n' bass, and then some. Influenced by Linton Kwesi Johnson, Lou Reed, Jimi Hendrix and Jim Morrison's poetry, Dido, & Sia - this collection from Darling Instigatah is the music of a gypsy poet, through the soul of an artist.
