The Boxer And the Boozer is a melodic Rock album with some great AOR elements, and this is a concept album where sweet flowing melodies spread between warm ballads and energetic rock songs meets the principal theme of the whole CD that is the introspective and solitary war of a man, a man that in life is a boxer (sacrifice, devotion, pain) and at the same time he's a boozer (vice, addiction, weakness). Both of these conflicting worlds meet with no escape. Don't be thinking that this CD is camped well inside the Glam circus-ring because it isn't. Fans of many of the other hard rock sub-genres of the 80's and 90's may enjoy this outing and some amazing moments that this album offers. This is Another solid effort from this promising Italian artist.
