His father was an accomplished musician but passed away when Dan was eleven, leaving a lasting imprint on him and his music. Having lived in over a dozen different places in the U.S. as well as Italy, Dan settled in Amarillo, Texas in 2000. His music is acoustic Americana, flavored with the influences of Kentucky Bluegrass, Kansas City Blues, Texas Country, and the 60's and 70's rock he grew up listening to. His songs are autobiographical and full of heart, coming from a life very different from what most of us have lived.
