'Neo - Psychedelic'. 'Power With a Conscience'. 'A Reverent Take on Early R.E.M.'. 'Witchy, Tribal, and Gripping'. All of these phrases have been used to describe Clockwork Kids, a rock band proudly based out of Chapel Hill, NC. Formed in 2012 by Anglo-Quebecois singer and bassist Justin Ellis and rounded out by guitarists Jeff DeLuca, Chris Petto, Patrick Carney, and drummer Dylan Abolafia, the band's triple-guitar soundscapes draws influences from the swamps of Georgia to the streets of Manchester while creating it's own brand of envelope-pushing rock music. In their short time together, the five-piece has toured all over the Eastern United States and Montral, self-produced and released their debut EP with a companion video project, were selected to perform at the 2014 TEDxUNC conference, and have shared stages with The Apache Relay, Jonas Sees In Color, The Protomen, The Avett Brothers, and many more. On April 3rd, the band released their debut LP 'Rememory' with a sold-out planetarium show, complete with spacial projections and additional musicians, cementing their role as innovators in the North Carolina rock scene.
